Tatashe ( /ˈtɑːtə ʃeɪ/ - tartar shay) is the Nigerian variety of Romano chili. It is an elongated sweeter, hotter and aromatic pepper than bell peppers. Tatashe chilies are hot in flavor without the searing heat, enabling them to give dishes a comfortable kick. Our tatashe powder is made by sun drying and then slightly smoking freshly harvested peppers to bring sweet heat and a rich red hue to many soups, stews and grilled foods.
Facts: Cultivated using sustainable practices, sun dried, smoked, processed by hand.
