White Penja Peppers are native to Cameroon - West Central Africa. These white peppers are the seeds of the fully ripe pepper berry indigenous to the Penja Valley where it grows in the region’s rich volcanic soil. The soil is rich in minerals giving the white Penja peppers a unique taste filled with mentholated and wild notes. These peppers are milder than black peppercorns, and their flavor is soft, sophisticated, musky, yet smoky with a clean, low heat delivering flavor that lingers in the mouth.
